Asalamuwalaikum. My name is Nafisa - many of you know me through "The Deen Qween", a page I started to support my healing journey through my divorce. Much of what I initially shared was quotes from the Quran that provided me ease, and others were my thoughts while I was navigating what would be one of the most difficult things I have ever faced - divorcing my husband as a single mother.
But SubhanAllah, how Allah works. Through this page, not only did I find healing, but I found a community of women who were on the same journey. This page brought sisters together who were experiencing such turbulent times. I wasn't alone. Allah connects us in the most beautiful ways. He brings you the people you need to support you in the most difficult of times. And just as I was not alone, I want you to know that you are not alone.
Ever since I was a young woman embarking on her career, supporting and empowering women was always a passion of mine. Through my divorce, I was able to complete this mission. Alhamdulillah, it has been such a blessing to be part of everyone's healing journey.
I hope I can be part of yours too.

Divorce care is an Islamic faith based group that is designed to be a safe environment for Muslimahs ONLY. Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they've ever faced. You don't have to go through this alone. Join a community of Muslimahs who are going through the same journey. Meetings are held once a week and are heavily faith based, including videos, discussion topics as well as weekly reflection questions.
